Wordless Wednesday: Music by The Book Club

November 30, 2011

Hey all you book clubbers out there! Today I don’t have pretty pictures for you (unless you happen to think one of these guys is hot)—I’ve got some happy music from a British Group who call themselves, The Book Club. A great name like that deserves some recognition, don’tcha think? (And although they are from Sheffield, don’t expect The Full Monty…)

I think they’re pretty fun—so crank up your speakers—and DANCE!

Yeah, I think some of them are hot 😀 There music is pretty good, and the lead singer has a really nice voice.

What I really like is the name of the club…not just because The Book Club is meaningful, but it makes sense…unlike some of them like 9-Inch Nails and Twisted Sister and Smashing Pumpkins and…well, you know what I mean. I salute THE BOOK CLUB

Sue: Of course, I loved this Indy group because of their name, and expected their music to be more alternative like Rancid or the Dead Kennedy’s—but it’s actually quite upbeat and fun. Thanks for dropping in! Cheers! BCC
